Pickleball details and pastel stripes brought a playful twist to this Palm Springs wedding

Share

Striped umbrellas, personalized pickleball details, and a palette of soft pastels might not sound like the starting point for a timeless wedding, but Mollie and Vale made the combination feel perfectly at home in Palm Springs.

Set against the desert landscape and mountain views of Eldorado Country Club, their celebration photographed by Atalia Photo and planned with Alexa Larberg brought together playful design and classic elegance. Soft pink, coral, peach, mint green, and powder blue appeared throughout the details, creating a colorful atmosphere that felt fresh without overwhelming the natural beauty of the setting.

The result was a wedding that embraced Palm Springs’ personality while keeping the focus on the couple and the joy of celebrating with their loved ones.

A pastel palette brought color to the desert

Rather than relying on traditional desert neutrals, Mollie and Vale introduced a softer, more playful color story.

Shades of pink, coral, peach, mint green, and powder blue created a cheerful contrast against the surrounding landscape. The combination felt distinctly Palm Springs, balancing the relaxed spirit of the destination with a polished, editorial aesthetic.

Striped umbrellas added pattern and personality, while palm-inspired stationery carried the location’s tropical influences into the smaller design details.

Classic bridal fashion met mismatched pink bridesmaids

Mollie embraced traditional bridal elegance in a classic white gown paired with a cathedral-length veil.

Vale complemented her in a white dinner jacket and black bow tie, creating a refined look that felt especially fitting for the country club setting.

The bridesmaids introduced more color through dresses in varying shades and silhouettes of pink. Rather than matching exactly, their individual looks created a layered, editorial effect that coordinated with the wedding palette while allowing each dress to feel distinct.

Together, the fashion balanced timeless black-tie influences with the lighter, more expressive spirit of Palm Springs.

Personalized pickleball details added a playful touch

Among the celebration’s most distinctive elements were the personalized pickleball details.

The unexpected sporting references introduced another layer of personality to the wedding, complementing the colorful palette and playful atmosphere.

Paired with the striped umbrellas and palm-inspired stationery, the details helped create a cohesive celebration that felt sophisticated without taking itself too seriously.

A lawn ceremony framed by desert mountains

Mollie and Vale exchanged vows on the lawn at Eldorado Country Club, surrounded by the property’s desert landscape and sweeping mountain views.

The natural setting provided a beautiful contrast to the wedding’s colorful design, allowing the couple to embrace a more playful aesthetic while keeping the ceremony itself timeless.

With the mountains rising beyond the lawn, the location became an essential part of the visual story rather than simply a backdrop.

Golden-hour portraits captured the beauty of Eldorado Country Club

As the light softened across the property, Mollie and Vale took advantage of the desert setting for golden-hour portraits.

The warm light, mountain views, and natural surroundings provided a romantic contrast to the brighter details of the celebration.

Throughout the day, their photographer focused on the combination of candid emotion, fashion-forward styling, and the colorful design elements that gave the wedding its personality.

Those quieter moments helped balance the more playful aspects of the celebration, creating a visual story that felt both elegant and full of life.

Mollie and Vale’s wedding embraced the best of Palm Springs without sacrificing the timeless details they loved. From the striped umbrellas and personalized pickleball accents to the mismatched pink bridesmaid dresses and classic white dinner jacket, every element contributed to a celebration that felt joyful, polished, and distinctly their own.

Against the mountains of Eldorado Country Club, the colorful details felt right at home, proving that timeless wedding style doesn’t have to mean playing it safe with color.
