Nada & Macarios, a wonderful British Egyptian couple tied the knot on Saturday 1st October 2022 at Syon Park in London, UK… and boy, was it a sight to behold! I first shot Nada & Macarios on a spontaneous engagement shoot and could tell right away just how perfect they were for each other. They’d been life long friends and Macarios had secretly had a crush on Nada for the longest time. It took an instagram DM about their mutual love for Jimi Hendrix, during lockdown, to kick off their long-awaited romance! So it was an absolute honour when they asked me to shoot their beautiful wedding day at the iconic Syon Park .

Nada, the bride, got ready at Syon Park while Macarios got ready with the boys in his family home. Their traditional Coptic Orthodox ceremony was held at St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox in Kensington, followed by their beautiful ‘anything-but-traditional’ reception at Syon Park. Nada’s quirky and unique personal style can be seen in the beautiful decor she chose; an explosion of colour that somehow blends seamlessly together! Being a baker herself, Nada has made countless wedding cakes for other happy couples so it was no surprise that she baked her own wedding cake on her special day.
