Keep It Colorful & Low Cost

From the Bride: About 6 months before our planned wedding day (yes, 6 months! I know! haha), we took a look at our living room, our bedroom, all our clothes, all my shoes… then we realized, the easiest way for us to pull-off this wedding in such a short time and with our limited budget ($15,000) is to just follow our aesthetic and make it the best, most colorful, most festive day of our lives (at least for now). Thus, this fun, festive, color block-inspired wedding

It Helps To Know Creative People

Jei and I are very blessed to have wonderful and talented artist and musician friends, and we wanted to showcase their art in our wedding. Our friends made portraits of us and we put them on display by the gift table.

My friend from college, Nico, made the flower-wall backdrop for our ceremony and all the floral arrangements for our bouquets and the tables. All the dinnerware and silverware we used were disposable, to keep us within our budget and at the same time avoid any problems with regards to cleanup.

Music & Lyrics

Our wedding music was performed by our friends, from the string ensemble to the choir to the reception entertainment. Most of the music arrangements that were used by the choir and the string ensemble were also arranged for us by our friends.
