An inviting European-style maximalist wedding at The Ruins in Seattle

maximalist wedding

This enchanting, maximalist photoshoot drew its inspiration from the notes of Gucci perfume "Gorgeous" and the depths of love intertwined with whimsy. Marrying European charm with unexpected delights such as a dance of bee ornaments, monkey candles, and wildflowers, the shoot unfolded at The Ruins in Seattle, a timeless backdrop with the unpredictable allure of an unlisted speakeasy. Here, in this elegant, enchanted rendition of an old-world Alice in Wonderland, love intertwined with whimsy. The carefully selected palette of lavender, chartreuse, oranges, ivory, gold, and green highlighted the natural elements of the space and acted as a nod to an old-world Alice in Wonderland. Keep scrolling to see how this inspiration by Sweet and Soul Design unfolded through a blend of high fashion, flash, and film photography by Koral Bleu Photography.

Blooms that flowed from the table

Urszula, the visionary florist, overcame November's floral challenge to create a secret garden-like dream where blooms seem to grow both from the table. Fresh fruits—grapes, lemons, tomatoes, pomegranates—introduced a down-to-earth dimension, enhancing the sensory experience at the table. A patterned tablecloth from BBJ La Tavola defied tradition, modern gold silverware added a touch of contemporary elegance, and small white butterflies, discreetly scattered throughout the florals, introduced an element of delicate surprise.
