Don’t over-research
From the bride: My advice to brides is to not over-research. Yes, over-research! If you spend sleepless nights pinning away on Pinterest then there will always be a new idea that will make you want to change your mind. Make decisions and stick with them.
Budget planning 101
When creating a budget be sure to keep in mind the little things; cost of mailing save the dates, invitations and RSVPs. It seems small but it can add up. Also, be sure to research who you should tip and how much. That can also add up.
Picture perfect
I must say, I would not have done anything differently. I spent over a year planning every last detail to be sure our wedding reflected what kind of couple we are and what was important to us. Our venue was picture perfect, the food was excellent and we had the time of our lives. The ice cream truck was the cherry on top!
