the welcome party vibe: elevated picnic

wedding welcome party picnic ideas

Fresh-baked bread, cheese, and local produce were laid out for the welcome party in a beautiful spread. We love this idea because you don’t need to worry about the food getting cold, and your guests can come and go as they arrive at the venue.

bridal headbands

The bride was styled in a draped chiffon halter gown that was serving some serious goddess vibes. For part of the shoot, she wore her hair down in luxurious waves with several ornate headbands and accessorized the dress with a voluminous long-sleeved bolero. Then, the team switched up the look by sweeping her hair back into a classic bun and swapping the bolero for a tulle cape. One dress, two totally different vibes.

a martini tower

martini tower for wedding

Martini towers are having a moment, and we love the floral display by Maite Mach that was created especially for this one. When you’re planning your wedding design, it’s important to think about each part as a scene or vignette, and this is the perfect example of how to do just that!

a candlelight reception in the round

round reception table ideas

These days, couples are prioritizing the social flow of their reception space. Gone are the days of intrusive floral centerpieces, and in their place: simple candles and ambient floral installations. A reception in the round, like this one designed by Paola Cazenaveone at La Farinera Sant Lluis, also does wonders for encouraging conversation.

As a sweet finish to the candlelight meal, the couple cut into a simple whipped cream-frosted cake that they decorated themselves with dried fruit and flower petals.
