Is there a cake that looks as though it was carved out of marble? Check. How about dramatic lighting to give the whole event the feeling of an ice castle? You bet. But surely there aren’t two Lamborghinis? Think again!

Sometimes You Just Know
The instant that Bruce saw Maliha he knew he had to take a chance at getting to know her better. He was bold and asked if she would go on a date with him. It took some persuasion, but she agreed to one hour. What was only going to be a quick drink turned into dinner and nine hours of conversation. Before they left, he told her that he knew he was going to marry her and propose to her in that restaurant one day.
Holy-Moley… er Matrimony
The ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton was covered in luxurious white drapes and the blue accent lighting finished off the serene ambiance. The tables were adorned with crystals, orchids and few touches of soft white feathers.
Maliha and Bruce said their vows on stage surrounded by their loved ones. They opted for a Justice of the Peace since their Afghan and American traditions are very different. Dinner was 7 courses and another round of food was brought out at midnight. The fun on the dance floor started with a popular DJ and then ended with a favorite band of Maliha’s.
