A Sweet First Look
If there was an award for best First Look – Frances and Marcus win. Hands down. It was the sweetest, most heartfelt first look we have ever witnessed. From the way Frances portrayed beauty and elegance, to the way that Marcus literally fell to his knees when he saw her — It was perfect. As Marcus anxiously awaited Frances to walk across the bridge, he knew he would be seeing her for the first time with new eyes – not only as his best friend but his bride. The moment he saw her, it was as if finally, all emotions were released and all fears ceased. She was his forever love, and the joy he felt brought him to the posture of a child receiving the most wonderful present imaginable on Christmas morning. This moment truly sums them up as a couple. From the first day meeting with them, their love for one another was beyond evident, and it was so incredible to watch it all come to fruition on the wedding day.
The Big Day
August 18, 2018, will forever be a special day for Frances and Marcus as they pledged their love to one another at Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa Valley. Rows of oak trees created a picturesque arch for this sweet couple to stand beneath and say, “I do.” They moved along into the grove of trees into an elegant courtyard of fine white linen and candlelight, making for an intimate ambiance. One of the standout decor pieces was their custom acrylic seating chart, created by the insanely talented Ashlee of Chalk & Design. Their overall design was sophisticated and classic, holding close to the simplicity of natural greenery with blush accents.
As they shared their first dance underneath the twinkling market lights, it was as if everyone around them faded away. It was just them, husband and wife, embarking on this new journey together and sealing it with a dance, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
