From Switzerland to France, this couples sweet and romantic destination wedding in St. Tropez will certainly put a smile on your face. The charming La Bastide des Salins was the location of choice for their gorgeous celebration, which was kept a secret from guests until the day before the wedding! Can you imagine?!

From Switzerland to France
From Rock My Love: Diana and Serge is probably the sweetest couple we have ever met! They both come from Switzerland and chose France to get married. Saint Tropez was their holiday destination for years and it was so meaningful for them to celebrate their love in this beautiful and romantic village. The challenge for us as planners was to find the right venue, D&S had a very accurate idea, they wanted a small and very charming hotel they could privatize, close to the beach and where they could party late. Of course, Saint Tropez offers many hotels but only a few of them have enough outdoor space to welcome such receptions.
Finding the perfect location
After spending time on researches, when finding the hotel La Bastide des Salins we knew it was this one and that our sweet couple were going to fall for it! However, the hotel had never done weddings before so the challenge was even more interesting: convincing the hotel team to be part of this adventure with us and making sure about the feasibility and logistic which is actually, for us, a very important key for a successful event. Diana & Serge, as expected, fell in love with the venue and thanked us for finding “just a unique paradise and the perfect venue for us”.
Keeping the venue a secret
They did something very nice for their guests actually, they kept the venue secret until the day before the wedding so their guests couldn’t check photos on the Internet and didn’t know at all what to expect. This wedding was full of love and good vibes. The ceremony was extremely emotional, tissues were distributed early and used very quickly. Our beautiful couple took time for thinking every single word realizing seriously their commitment for life.
