A Romantic Jewel-toned Elopement at Malibu Rocky Oaks Vineyard

Gorgeous elopement in Malibu

Talk about wildly romantic! This couple opted for an intimate elopement at the Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyard in California. The stunning mountain backdrop will take your breath away for their jewel-toned day styled by The Elegant Ninja Events

The bride looked edgy and beautiful in her custom-made black lace gown from Tarik Ediz, and we love how she paired her gown with jewel-toned florals for both her bouquet and hair. Read more about their day below, and check out the full gallery for every last image from ArinaB Photography.

Their dream wedding

From The Bride: Jimmy and I decided to elope because we think it makes for the most romantic and intimate marriage ever. We were going to have a traditional Cambodian wedding in the summer with over 400 guests, but we decided to do something more meaningful and more us, not our parents. It's our dream wedding!

The breathtaking Views in Malibu

Yes, we could've gone anywhere in the world but we chose Malibu Rocky Oaks because I love the mountains. There's something about the mountains that always seems so heavenly and therapeutic to me. The view at MRO was perfect. Yes, there are mountains everywhere else in the world but there's none out there that comes with a delicious candlelight dinner :D Oh I also love the breathtaking California sunset, it's like no other. I'm originally from NorCal so Cali will always have my heart.

Edgy and mysterious dress

I chose a black wedding dress not only because it went perfectly with my design theme but it's also edgy and mysterious like the woman I am. I feel that white is so pure and innocent which I'm so not haha! I am a mother of 4, I am an old soul, I've been over the mountains, through the fire and back. But most importantly, Jimmy loves the black dress on me! It's what he had hoped for :)
