if you think about it, ducks & surf boards are the perfect combo for an engagement… and for sarah & david it works in a very personal way:

We are both from Pacific Palisades, and David is a lifelong surfer.  It only made sense to have our shoot at the Palisades beach!  The ducks are a Korean tradition and were sent to me by my aunt in Korea.  They represent the bride and the groom.  After the wedding, they are placed in the couple’s house and their position tells of the couples marital state.  Nose to nose means the relationship is good, tail to tail means they are probably having a tiff.  Our ducks are nose to nose 🙂
