DIY Wedding: Charming Details, Swing Dance & Mom’s Dress Inspiration

Share

Happy Friday! We thought you might want to see a little DIY love from JAC Photography. The bride, Therese was responsible for many of the DIY things in this wedding. Therese did her invitations, programs and place cards. She rallied up friends and family to do the Martha Stewart paper flowers for the favors.
To save money, she had her florist design fan bouquets for her bridesmaids. She also made her bridesmaid’s earrings. The guys had cigars, argyle socks and fedora hats. The couple danced a choreographed swing dance for their first dance, the bride had a different dress that she wore just for the dance.

Her dress was especially important to her as it was her mom’s wedding dress. She incorporated the fabric into a new design that was inspired by a few different wedding dresses.
