Vintage meets whimsical

The style of this shoot had a very elegant, vintage look and Samantha James Photography did a fabulous job capturing every detail within the style. Her light and airy aesthetic was exactly how I wanted this shoot to be portrayed. I wanted every part of the style to be whimsical yet romantic!
Elegant and whimsical
From the non-traditioal color of the bride’s gown to the mis-matched china on the table, this shoot had all of the elegant and vintage elements that we envisioned! The invitation suite by Centennial Avenue complimented the style so well with its neutral and blush color scheme and floral envelope liner. The suite was the epitome of the elegant aesthetic.
Whimsical decor
The couple was married under a vintage metal arch decorated with fresh blooms and silver dollar eucalyptus which paired perfectly with the bridal bouquet. The backdrop behind the arch was the fresh greens provided by The Greenhouse. The farmhouse table from West Michigan Rental Company was a perfect backdrop for the vintage dishes from Gigi & LaClede Vintage Rentals. The pop of orange and subtle mint in the dishes really made this tablescape unique! The eucalyptus garland paired with the overflowing centerpiece gave the setting the perfect amount of whimsical and just enough structure.
Dreamy dessert table
The dessert buffet that Ginger Bakes put together was a dream. The baked donuts were to die for and the ombre rosette cake was the perfect piece to bring the table together. Mini cakes with buttercream frosting were the perfect smaller touch to add dimension to the table. The shoot ended with the stunning bride and groom, celebratory champagne and clinking of glasses!
