This inspirational shoot in Val d'Orcia was born from the imagination of Francesca and Manola from Tuscan Wedding Events. The main theme was a romantic, elegant, and ethereal wedding in the Tuscan Countryside. Relais Ortaglia in Montepulciano was the perfect venue! It's a mixture of elegance and rustic-chic taste surrounded by the typical hills of the famous Val d'Orcia. Francesca and Manola curated a group of close-knit local vendors which brought a unique touch to the whole event.
Both the bride and groom had multiple looks throughout the day. We used romantic ensembles for the ceremony and elegant ones for dinner time. Hair and makeup changed as well, as we wanted to create different looks for day and night. The bride’s style was natural, a kind of day-to-day makeup was what we had in mind-so we kept the style simple. We preferred to create a more fashionable feel than a bridal look. Lindsay Marie provided stunning bridal accessories-two sets of jewelry that we changed according to the two different moments.
Flowers played a fundamental role, so Alessia of Bottausci Fiori used a natural blush color palette made by pink roses and dried hydrangea that matched perfectly with the style of the venue. We created a delicate ceremony spot in the venue garden overlooking the countryside. The light breeze helped make the photos even more special. The bride performed an elegant dance in front of the villa (on pointe!) to the delicate sound of the violin.
Roland's set up the dinner table in the vineyard. The chandelier added a touch of elegance to the rustic table decor like the linen tablecloth, candles, and rice paper stationery. The cake had a simple design with an ethereal touch from abstract sugar wings. It was so breathtaking that we decided to create a spot just for the cake. Together, the elements created a magical atmosphere all around, and everything was ready for the arrival of the bride and groom on a vintage Vespa.
The sunset closed our day and these hours marked the perfect end to an intangible moment captured in stunning pictures. Every detail, every little aspect was specifically thought out and designed in accordance with the location and the mood of the day.
