The Best Thing to Drink At Your Tiffany Blue Bridal Shower

Share

I’ll admit, I’m not a hugeeee fan of bridal shower themes. They can get cheesy REAL quick. But, if you can pull off a theme in an understated, less-than-overwhelming way, you definitely have my attention. A Breakfast at Tiffany’s theme is one that can get extra exceptionally fast, what with everything Tiffany blue and strands of pearls strewn everywhere, but we think we’ve cracked the code on the how to do this dime a dozen theme deliciously well. We had some help from our friends at Blanc de Bleu, because Tiffany blue is their trademark tincture; the bubbly brand sponsored this post to help us call out the 4Cs for a bridal shower celebration only Holly Golightly could love: confections, couture, craftiness, and cocktails – five if you count the carat size on those diamond engagement ring cookies…

Confections

What’s a bridal shower without some lovely desserts? Leave the cupcakes and macarons behind this time, and instead opt for a few things that are a bit more certifiably chic. Cake pops enrobed in Tiffany blue, and appliquéd with statement black and white anemones, yes. Gourmet chocolate-covered strawberries drizzled with dark and white chocolates, blue bows and some sparkly rock sugar, yes. And a Sugarfina-scoured candy bar complete with gummies, chocolates and caramels in Audrey Hepburn signature shades. And of course, there must be a classy AF coffee bar set up somewhere.

Couture

The big thing with a theme shower is going ALL in. You have to commit to the cause, otherwise it’s lost. So, for a BAT shower, we recommend issuing a dress code – guests in black, #soiconic, so that the bride can shine in white. If you can control the palette, your party will have a much bigger impact. We also love the idea of having a glam station sequestered somewhere throughout your social soiree. Or even an Audrey-style makeup, perfume, and heel-help amenities basket in the powder room. With all of those bridal shower games and guest book entry-ing, your guests certainly can’t read those sorts of things… without their lipstick.

Craftiness

With a Tiffany-type bridal shower, you’ll need to have major creative direction chops. So, no lame photo booth props here (#sorrynotsorry), instead it’s all about that one killer vignette. A stunning floral wall, maybe even a blue and white 3D paper flower backdrop? And for favors, Bride + Co. wrapped chocolate bars can take a backseat for memorable robin’s egg blue sleep masks. So sassy, so sweet for your squad, and so unexpected, too. No one shops for a sleep mask solo, but getting one as a keepsake? 🙌💎

And the best way to honor a Breakfast at Tiffany’s bride? A Tiffany blue mimosa bar. 🍾🥂

Cocktails

A bubbly bar will always go over well, but a perfect blue bubbly bar is next-level fabulous. Blanc de Bleu brings it, and there’s really no other way to go than up with this favorite of ours. The light and fruity, crisp and boujee (in the best way possible) blueberry taste keeps up with the bridal breakfast+brunch vibe, and goes smittenly-well with a selection of magical mixers. Fresh-squeezed juices, sparkling sodas in sundry flavors (like grapefruit, pink lemonade, etc.), and bright blue-colored champs, talk about a perfect a match!

And those mini blue bottles are so dahling… we just can’t. If you leave them out for guests to grab, though, just don’t be shocked when you play a riveting round of BAT-inspired ‘What’s In Your Purse?’ and find a lot of ladies sneaking an extra bottle or two of the bleu… #somethingborrowed meet #somethingblue. Who knows, maybe these chicks will be next on the getting-married train?
