Opulent Tuscan Wedding Inspiration With A Nod To Bridgerton

It has almost been a year since a certain family took the world by storm and they are still the talk of the town! Everyone wants to keep up with the Bridgertons, and who wouldn't? They're opulence, they're glamour, they're perfectly poised and remarkably innocent and intriguing. This team from Tuscany took all of their favorite parts of the famed Netflix series and boiled it down into one delightfully gorgeous inspiration shoot that you simply must see!

If Daphne is the muse for this shoot, then Gaia Cinotti of Eventi Gaia Weddings & Events is the master artist. They planned and designed this shoot down to every last detail. Villa Il Leccio played host for their grand fete and fits the Regency-era elegance to a T. And what would a ball be without flowers? Don't worry, Deep Flowers took care of that...this shoot is literally dripping in wisteria and ivy! Fortunately, we live in the age of photos and video, and thanks to Studio Bonon Photography and Gattotigre - Destination Wedding Videography we don't need to wait for the latest gossip column to come out to get all the scandalous deets. To see more from this gorgeous shoot, check out the full gallery. Read on to hear more about all of the little Easter eggs that Gaia Cinotti of Eventi Gaia Weddings & Events and their team hid in this Bridgerton-inspired shoot.

A TUSCAN TAKE ON THE BRIDGERTON TREND

Opulent Tuscan Wedding Inspiration With A Nod To Bridgerton

Dear Readers, what about a Bridgerton inspired wedding in Tuscany? Well... Bridgerton and Tuscan weddings have something in common: endless romance and luxurious elegance. This theme is set to be one of the top wedding trends of this year and we could not be more excited to show our setting in Tuscany. We have taken care of every detail which reminds us of the beautiful and romantic atmosphere of Bridgerton. We decided to have our wedding in a typical Tuscan noble villa in the countryside, surrounded by hills, vineyards, and olive trees, and let’s not forget...the amazingly stunning sunsets! Are you intrigued by the idea of adding a bit of Bridgerton style for your wedding in Tuscany?

DRIPPING IN FLOWERS

In front of the villa is a lovely pergola set up with opulent chandeliers that are symbols of the decadence of the Regency-era in Bridgerton. We just love chandeliers! Draping greenery and wisteria hang down from the pergola. As you know, ivy and white wisteria are very present in Bridgerton, especially as decor during beautiful glamourous debutante balls...and don’t forget, the dream home is also wonderfully decorated by ivy and wisteria. We decided to use white dangling wisteria and white flowers for the table decor with a hint of pastel blue. Opulent Tuscan Wedding Inspiration With A Nod To Bridgerton

AN ODE TO DAPHNE

Why did we choose to use white and pastel blue as our color palette you ask? White represents innocence and the purity of Daphne, everything expected for a Regency-era debutante. It is a color that is always considered to be a perennial favorite and in addition, white could be a reference to Daphne’s deeply-rooted desire for marriage and idyllic family life. Pale blues and greens showcase the family’s class and standing. Blue is an aristocratic color and we also find it in English fine china which strengthens the notion of class. We used pastel blue napkins adding a pastel blue velvet ribbon around the menu because velvet is another detail that was present in the Regency fashion era. All of these feminine florals and delicate details are Daphne’s go-to style. She loves classic luxury such as crystal coupe glasses and chandeliers. What about old-world stationery? We decided to add some whimsical details such as dusty blue ribbons and green flowers.

AN ELEGANT INNOCENCE

For the bride’s dress, we selected two different options, both of them elegant. The first dress was covered by precious 3D flowers and pearls and had capped sleeves. We loved pairing the innocence of the white dress with a delicate diamond tiara. The makeup and hair is a modern take on the Regency era, creating a soft loose updo embellished by a crystal tiara that reminded us of the jewelry of that time. The makeup style of this era was a smooth, pale complexion with a hint of rosy glow on the apples of the cheeks and tinted lips. Incorporating this beautifully fresh and dreamy romantic look fell right into the Bridgerton theme and it just looks divine.

ADD A LITTLE OPULeNCE

You may well know that the ladies of Bridgerton are anything but boring, so the fluffy, bouncy, vivacious gown of the second dress is on point! Allover tulle ruffles give this whimsical gown an unapologetic festive feel–you feel like you’re at the Queen’s Ball. What about shoes? Why not think of something special and glamorous. Well...these sandals are on point! Crystal with ostrich feather detail, a mix of elegance and extravagance. Feathers remind us of the Feather-ington family. Feathered headpieces are also typical of the Regency era, court dress code dictated that ladies must wear Ostrich feathers. But, most of all, feathers remind us of the quill used by Lady Whistledown to write her society papers.
