Introverts, This Romantic Beach Wedding Is For You

Introverts, This Romantic Beach Wedding Is For You

Not a big fan of being the center of attention? I get it, in fact, I live that, so when presented with this fabulous two-parter wedding day that even my most introverted hindbrain could accept I knew others of you out there needed to see it! Introverts love their friends and family too, they don't necessarily want to exclude them from their whole wedding day, but when it comes to standing up in front of everyone the dry mouth and stage fright begins to set in.

Heather Cook Elliot Photography and Events to a T artfully designed a whole beach inspired day that all my fellow introverts would truly appreciate. Keep scrolling to find out what their brilliant plan is and don't forget to check out all the details in the full gallery.

PS: we even have a budget breakdown AND a bouquet recipe waiting for you. Man, this event has everything!

The Plan

The story here is that we imagine a truly private couple who want to make wedding memories that are wholly their own. We imagine a couple that loves the water and can't imagine a wedding day without it as their ultimate backdrop. We imagine a couple who wants to celebrate with friends & family but first, wants to share a deeply personal exchange of vows - privately - just the two of them.

This couple sets sail to a private beach, reaching shore on a small dinghy where a private picnic and altar are set for them. With the waves as their soundtrack, they exchange vows and toast one another before setting sail to their reception.

The Style

The bride wears a two-piece dress that allows her a romantic, fuller silhouette for the beach vows and then after removing the skirt she sails (literally) into her reception in a sleeker column gown.

The colors reflect the water and the sand where they said I Do and the feel of all the details are soft, flowing, windblown and a little wild.

Also, we've included a little flower tutorial that shows the bouquet deconstructed. We loved doing the little bouquet tutorial at the start and how the whole palette comes together.
