Seaside Seduction
A Bridal Shoot Inspired by Ocean Homes & Coastal Living The seed for this shoot was a love affair with coastal home décor. We wondered what would happen if you designed an outdoor wedding space using the type of furniture, fabrics, lighting, and materials found in the cool, crisp coastal homes featured in our favorite glossy home magazines.
We wanted a light and airy seaside feel, with glimmers of shimmery elegance. Picking up on the seaside setting’s hues with a palette of creams, pale blues, and soft greens, we continued our coastal theme with floral creations and décor employing tactile, beach-inspired materials such as rope, wood, glass, and coral.
The Tents
The event spaces included a lounge tent on the beach, reception tent on the lawn, the cocktail area under open bistros, and a dessert and espresso bar under an intricate sailcloth arch.
Our two “brides” rocked a sampling of fairytale New England ensembles, embodying effortless, simple-but-not-so-simple chic. Exquisite desserts and craft cocktails delighted our “guests” at the shoot’s finale when the tented spaces began to glow against the darkening sky.
