The Decor
This enchanted styled shoot is downright heavenly! Chandler Oaks Barn, located in historic St. Augustine, Florida, created the perfect backdrop for a design that was slightly rustic and completely elegant. The color inspiration for the day was Pantone’s 2018 Color of the Year, Ultraviolet, which came to life in luscious rose bouquets, rich reception linens, and even the champagne!
Natural lighting crept in through abundant windows and shone on wooden, family-style tables ready for a feast. Silver chargers and wine-colored goblets sat at each place setting, adding a touch of luxury.
The Cake
The cake, standing tall with five tiers, was a masterpiece itself! Each layer was intricately decorated, lavender sugar roses encircled the bottom, and the center showcased chalkboard-inspired “Love” lettering.
The Invite
Equally unique was the invitation, which was set in the lid of a wooden box. Purple paper flowers and a golden monogram filled the bottom.
The Wings
While every detail was stunning, the real centerpiece of this shoot was a showstopping pair of wings made of twigs and florals. Wearing them, the model bride truly looked like something sent from above! A fitted gown and a loose updo completed her romantic look, and her bouquet dripped greenery and violet ribbons. Her portraits in the forest were just the right finishing touch to an absolutely magical day!
