Seville, Madrid, and Barcelona are the most popular destination, also for international weddings. Just a few know its archipelagos; in addition to the Balearics in the north, the Canary Islands are rushed every year by dozens of visitors for winter holidays, in the southernmost spot of the whole of Europe.
In a few hours, you can fly from Scandinavia to the tropics, enjoy the sun and pleasant weather, plus fabulous cocktails and tapas and, why not, an excellent book by one of the many famous Spanish writers. Forget about the winter then!
