From Heart’s Content Events & Design:This shoot emphasized my love for intimate, romantic weddings with an exotic twist, featuring some ornate Moroccan cultural details. Moroccan poufs, used at the reception table in the shoot, are low to the ground and create a very intimate feel to your wedding. The jewel tones used throughout the shoot is reminiscent of the lively colors and celebration more modern Moroccan weddings, and create a vivacious pop of color against the neutral beach tones in the shoot.
The Hayley Paige gown accompanied by the ornate crystal bolero was specifically selected to be a modernized version of the traditional wedding gown worn by a Moroccan bride at the end of the wedding celebration. The traditional Moroccan bride can change as much as seven times during the wedding celebration, but the last gown is often a stunning white gown accompanied with ornate and gorgeous jewelry.
From the Moroccan gold poufs, to low reception table on the beach, to the gold painted animal place card holders, to the ornate details of the cake and the lively colors of fuchsia, tangerine, and gold, and royal purple, all placed on the stunning natural backdrop that is Ocean View Beach in Norfolk Virginia, this shoot oozed romantic elegance with a splash of exotic flair.
