Blue Watercolor Inspired Wedding Ideas in the Woods

Share

Wild boho bouquet

Dreaming of a romantic wedding in the woods? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Lola Event and Productions and a team of talented creatives took advantage of the forest setting at The Morton Arboretum to bring this dreamy blue watercolor wedding inspiration to life.

From the dreamy table design in blue and gold, to the oversized chandeliers hanging from above, this shoot is full of pin-worthy ideas you can incorporate into your very own woodsy wedding. Read on below, and find more images in the full gallery from Artistrie Co.

into the forest

From Lola Event Productions: Being in Chicago, it’s not too often this team has the opportunity to work in a magical setting surrounded by water and lush vegetation. The Arboretum was so inspiring to us, we knew we had to take the opportunity to set a breathtaking tablescape in the middle of the amazing forestry it provides.

Soft, whimsical and airy

Soft, whimsical, and airy were the adjectives we used when describing our inspiration and vibe for the shoot. We loved using a wide variety’s of blues and greens to play in to the colors of Meadow Lake and the surrounding trees. The whimsical and awe inspiring chandeliers floating from above played into the magical feeling we wanted brides to feel when looking at our photos.

Mix and match table

Colors and style were all tied together with the soft tones of the mallard velvet linen complimented with gold flatware and glassware, royal blue toned dishware, and a perfectly unique gold veined charger. We loved the look of a mix and matched table setting to go with our loose and understated design scheme.
