A Multi-Day Destination Wedding Could Actually Save You Money…Here’s How

A Multi-Day Destination Wedding Could Actually Save You Money...Here's How

When you and your guests are traveling for a destination wedding it just makes sense to stretch out the celebration and get the most bang for your buck. In fact, many destination wedding venues also serve as bed and breakfasts and can host a multi-day affair. This may be intimidating, especially because you're already investing so much into one day! Well, this team of vendors kept that in mind when creating this spectacular shoot. They kept all three events: the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and the post-wedding brunch, all at the same venue and utilized the same floral arrangements (which is a major part of the wedding budget). Not only is it budget-friendly, but it makes the entire celebration cohesive and weaves a familiar thread through each event.

Samantha Bottelier Events wanted to create an approachable, colorful, and fun-filled wedding weekend at Chateau De Berne that any couple could visualize as their own. Capucine Atelier Floral created versatile arrangments that could be easily transported to different parts of the venue and serve as decor for each event to save money and limit waste. These photos by Franklyn K Photography are so bright and happy, you can't help but smile when you look at them and we're sure the video by Video Paris is just as fun! You can see even more from this beautiful shoot in the full gallery. Read on to hear more from Franklyn K Photography

HOSTING A MULTI-DAY CELEBRATION

We are delighted to share with you those sumptuous images by Franklyn K Photography, the floral design of Capucine Atelier Floral, the dresses by Tanzilia and Teutamatoshi, the magnificent videos by Tommy of Video Paris, all planned and designed by Samantha Bottelier Events for an incredible editorial. Samantha Bottelier Events wanted to highlight the Chateau De Berne. This castle allows for several possible layouts for your wedding weekend. It was important to show that in one place, three different setups can be possible for your small or medium-scale wedding.

When hosting a destination wedding, foreign couples rent and come to the same place for several days. It was essential to help our bride and groom visualize a rehearsal dinner, a wedding day, and a brunch the next day. Our editorial was meant to be modern, romantic, and colorful–an ode to nature and spring. Every detail was important and the placement of each scene follows the timeline of a modern luxurious wedding. Oftentimes, there is a separate budget item for flowers and decor for each day of the wedding celebration. This is why Samantha and Cecile of Capucine Atelier Floral worked to create three different scenes, all different, but with the same flowers to make the cost of the wedding more accessible and to make a sustainable gesture for the planet at the same time.

THE REHEARSAL DINNER

A Multi-Day Destination Wedding Could Actually Save You Money...Here's How

The rehearsal dinner took place in the "place du village du chateau", a unique place that gives the feel of being in a typical Provencal village. The dress code for the evening is chic and relaxed. The table was designed to be modern and refined with a gray tablecloth, modern candlesticks in gold, and a garland runner, full of candles to light the air as our couple dances under the stars before the big day. The night before the wedding, the talented Benjamin K and his jazz group put the guests in the mood with a little music so that everyone could enjoy and relax before the big day. Our future bride wears a delicate satin dress, by Tasya Talitha, a french designer, and Bella Belle shoes. Our future groom wears a suit designed by Rives Paris–elegant and relaxed.

THE BIG DAY

The London weather followed us to Provence. A mystical, rainy, romantic, and unique atmosphere emanated from the venue and allowed us to highlight our editorial with breathtaking details. You are instantly transported to the English countryside with its exquisite details and charm. And, it wouldn't be English without tea. The picnic and food styling were thought out in detail to perfectly combine the color palette and overall inspiration. Perfect bites of macaroons and calissons, a Provencal specialty, to titillate the palate before a sumptuous meal. Our future bride wears an airy and delicate blue dress designed by Teutamatoshi. Our bride-to-be runs, laughs, and enjoys this special moment with her fiancé before the big moment in an olive grove that goes on for as far as the eye can see. Before the ceremony, our bride was delicate, sexy, and modern with lingerie designed by Tanzilia and a veil reminiscent of the French style with delicate dots, by Tasya Talitha.
