Greek Summer Vibes
This is the feeling we wanted to convey with this inspirational styled-shoot! Stepsis – Weddings In Crete was the visionary behind the idea to recreate the perception of the greek colours and add a modern touch to it. Planned and executed by Stepsis, the final result was a hymn to beauty in simplicity. Each element was carefully chosen, planned and designed to serve our concept.
The stunning 7 Thalasses seafront venue in Rethymno was the ideal setup and both models bared the characteristic Mediterranean beauty. The simple yet elegant makeup by the amazing Michalis Tsotras matched perfectly the statement bridal dresses designed by the unique atelier Zolotas. The traditional Greek whites and blues were complimented by earthy tones and bright yellow elements, to celebrate the colours of summery Cretan nature.
Simple white flowers beautifully combined with lemons and greenery were the key elements of the glorious floral arrangements created by En Kipo.Our “art de la table” was elevated by Kaleido’s wonderful traditional creations: our suggestion for an imaginative guest’s favour, the greek worry beads.
Besides the local delicacies, the menu also included refreshing cocktails with local ingredients brought to us by Handcrafted Cocktails. Our signature cocktail was a thyme-infused local raki, with homemade honey syrup, hibiscus cordial, fresh lemon juice and bergamot.
Finally the marble cake, inspired by the Cretan sky and decorated with our florals, completed the picture of our styled shoot. The modern greek summer wedding vibe was stunningly captured and interpreted by the lenses of Irini Koronaki and Konstantinos Aidonis Videography
