From Myra Callan: For the 2015 Twigs & Honey Collection, I was inspired by shapes and lines found in the natural world. Each piece was organically inspired to result in a collection that features dainty crystals, intricate beading and elaborate embroideries. The shoot was made possible by an amazing team. The collection was shot by the talented fine art photographer, Elizabeth Messina , at the beautiful Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, CA. The grounds and villa were the perfect backdrop of earthy romance.
Most of the props and décor from vintage velvet covered chairs and lovely antiqued mirrors were provided by Anna Rice and Heather Saarloos of Etable Collecte. The beautiful and thoughtfully composed florals were all arranged and provided by Forage Florals, whose focus is on using foraged or sustainably grown varieties of plants and flowers found in the area. The hair/makeup styles by Christina Burns paired perfectly with our delicate and feminine pieces. The bridal looks were made complete by the luxuriously detailed shoes of Freya Rose.
