Garden of Eden: Three Looks at Park Winters
This floral-forward styled shoot at the gorgeous Park Winters was created to celebrate trans and LGBTQ+ brides! Photographer Kai Skye Photography was inspired to collaborate with Northern California vendors and model Eden to style a shoot to inspire any trans and gender non-conforming bride. They selected three iconic looks inspired by the 1950's, greek goddesses, and the soft goth aesthetic.

1950's inspired bride
For Eden's bridal looks, they selected three distinct styles of dresses and accessories from Onyx Bridal (Sacramento). The process of trying on unique gowns that made her feel beautiful and express herself was a moment of gender euphoria for Eden. The team collaboratively came up with the idea of turning gender norms upside-down; the first look was inspired by a 1950's vintage style.
Eden's hair and beauty styles for each look were created by Christi Reynolds Beauty. We were blown away by how much each hairstyle and makeup look transformed the model's aesthetic!
Rose Gold Floral Sweetheart Table
To pair with the luscious gardens of Park Winters, the team designed a rose gold, rustic inspired sweetheart table. With linens from Creative Coverings and rentals from Celebrations Party Rentals, this reception setting is perfect for the California bride.
Calligraphy was done by Pineapple + Paper for a modern and elegant touch.
The colorful and fresh floral design was created by Flourish - local wildflowers brought a vibrant pop of color to each scene of the styled shoot.
Greek goddess inspired look
The model's second outfit was a modern twist on a Greek goddess inspired look. Flourish designed a completely unique floral tattoo as an alternative to a held bouquet!
Park Winters was not only chosen for its stunning gardens and architecture; the vendor team wanted to celebrate the LGBTQ+ owned venue. Park Winters is a safe and thoughtful venue for any gender identity couple!

"Soft goth" is a trendsetter
When exploring different bridal styles, the idea of "soft goth" came to mind. Pairing moody makeup and dramatic accessories against her embroidered dress and flower crown - a new trend was born!
