Living Walls Are The New Murals–You Heard It Here First

Living Walls Are The New Murals–You Heard It Here First

Murals had their moment, and we loved the bright bold colors that they brought into the weddingsphere. But, now we're obsessed with their earthy cousin–the living wall! We love the depth and texture that a living wall brings to a space. It's a way to incorporate a ton of greenery without having your wedding be too floral heavy, especially if you're going for that modern minimalist vibe. We love the way this team used the living moss wall as the foundation for the design and kept the rest of the details monochromatic to really pop against the dark backdrop.

The Perfect Touch Co designed this shoot to show that you can have a clean modern wedding that incorporates natural elements. They teamed up with Painted Primrose to create these delicate white floral arrangements that add an air of whimsy to the entire affair. Moss Event Venue with its built-in living wall was absolutely perfect for their vision. These dramatic photos by Lauren Finch Photography show just how important natural light and the right amount of contrast are when it comes to designing your own wedding. NATURAL CONTRAST

Living Walls Are The New Murals–You Heard It Here First

This wedding was based off of an extensive Pinterest Board filled with green, black, and white accents, as well as a real wedding that will be taking place at Moss Event Venue in 2022. During this shoot, we were able to play with the amazing natural light inside Moss, relax with a lounge bar setup thanks to The Perfect Touch Rentals, and enjoy some always delicious macarons from Minnies Macarons for dessert. We wanted bright and crisp white florals to contrast against the black accents around the venue and on the tables as well as the green moss wall. The arrangements were also multi-purpose. The ground arch was moved to the reception as a backdrop for the sweetheart table after the ceremony. Painted Primrose went above and beyond, and created the most stunning floral arrangements for the day.

GETTING THE LOOK

Living Walls Are The New Murals–You Heard It Here First

We dressed our groom in a classic black tux from Jim's Formal Wear, and our bride in an elegant but modern gown from Soriee Bridal BoutiqueElijah Cordova worked his magic on the bride's hair and makeup, and her dark berry lip was a perfect pop with the color palette. Our groom had a bit of grooming to look his best as well.
