Mint & Peach Bridal Shower: A Shabby Chic Dream

A-frame sign: This way for bride-to-be Natalie

Natalie's bridesmaids, with the help of the lovely ladies from Belovely, threw her an amazing bridal shower that was covered in shades of mint and peach. Held on the back deck of the Mother of the Groom's house, vintage furniture along with burlap and lace accents gave the space a shabby chic atmosphere perfect for the Sunday afternoon affair.
Not only did Belovely provide all of the florals and vintage furniture for this bridal shower, but they also expertly designed this vintage event down to the very last detail. Don't miss any of the delightful details from this vintage bridal shower by visiting the full gallery here, all captured by Mindy Lipcavage Photography.

Bride surprised by engagement photos

From the Bride:I had no doubts that Belovely and my bridesmaids would do a spectacular job creating a beautiful, fun, and memorable day. But I truly was not prepared for just how incredible it would be. The shower was held on the deck of my mother-in-law's house on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. I'll admit, I was slightly concerned with how the rain and cold air would affect the mood of the guests. When I arrived at the house, I was told to wait in the car for about 10 minutes to allow for more guests to arrive and for the girls to put finishing touches on everything.

When I finally got the signal from my bridesmaids, they quickly guided me towards the deck with my eyes closed and under the safety of an umbrella. I could hear the excited chatter of all the guests and as I opened my eyes, all of my expectations for the day were totally surpassed. The deck was covered with an enormous white tent and hanging from pole to pole were lanterns, lace and flowers. On each table were stunning flower arrangements by Belovely and pictures of my husband and myself when we were kids.

They created a gorgeous space for me to open gifts and made use of a lot of shabby chic/vintage furniture, signage, and bunting, lace doilies, old books, and milk glass vases. They totally nailed the "Shabby Chic" theme I was going for and used a pastel color palette.

There was even a mimosa bar which all the guests, including myself, naturally gravitated towards throughout the day. It was undoubtedly one of the most memorable days of my life and I will never forget how incredibly beautiful everything looked and how impressed all of the guests were. I will be forever grateful to my bridesmaids and Belovely for their thoughtfulness and creativity.

From Belovely:Co-hosted by our very own designer and stylist, this bridal shower was bound to be a showcase for Belovely and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it! Though the weather ended up being a bit chilly and rainy, under the tent was nothing short of lovely and fun. Since we were also simultaneously working with the bride on her wedding decor, we knew that playing up the vintage feel was the perfect prelude to her wedding day. Using tons of lace, lanterns, and vintage furnishings we were able to give a backyard bridal shower the style it needed. Mindy Lipcavage was there to capture the day and she did an absolutely beautiful job and with such a bright smile and happy essence about her. With styling, florals and rentals all by Belovely, we absolutely loved having a hand in the entire look and we couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out!
