The Venue: Greencrest Manor

In the entrance to Greencrest Manor, floral installations climbed up the grand staircase leading to the bridal suite as the couple prepared separately for their elegant black-tie celebration. Drawn to the venue’s European-inspired architecture and gardens, the couple instantly knew it was the perfect setting for their celebration and leaned into the manor’s timeless aesthetic throughout the design.

The Vision: Classic Garden Romance

Meadow arrangements in blush, peach, and ivory lined the aisle in the manicured garden for the ceremony before guests made their way to an outdoor reception beneath the estate’s Dogwood trees in full bloom, where green toile linens and gilded china set a refined garden-party tone. Thoughtfully designed by Modern Day Collective and captured by Courtney Rudicel, the day blended classic romance with personal moments the couple hopes guests will remember long after the celebration ended.

Getting Ready

The bride slipped into a fitted lace mermaid gown with romantic off-the-shoulder draping, while the groom relaxed with his groomsmen over a glass of whiskey in the study.

The Fashion

The groom sported a classic black tuxedo for the black-tie affair, and the bride was radiant in a timeless lace mermaid gown. Delicate lace appliques draped off-the-shoulder, and she wore her loose waves pulled back into a half-up, half-down look. For the ceremony, she accessorized the look with a long veil trimmed in a matching lace.

The Dinner

Sage and white linens set the backdrop for the tablescape accented with gilded china and champagne napkins. Delicate blush-tapered candles danced in the breeze as guests shared plenty of laughs and happy tears over the course of the night.

An Audio Guestbook

Have you thought about what you’re doing for your guestbook yet? This couple decided to do an audio guestbook using a vintage phone. Guests left heartfelt messages that the couple can listen to for years to come. And note that the phone perfectly matches the sage from the color palette. Coincidence? We think not 😉.
The Cake

Cocktail hour featured passed hors d’oeuvres and a dramatic champagne tower, followed by a plated dinner and a vintage-inspired Lambeth-style cake adorned with tiny pink satin bows, with individually packaged cupcakes offered for guests to take home.

A Cold Sparks Exit

Sparklers were fun for a while…until they weren’t 😳. These days, couples (and venues) prefer the safer and much more impactful cold sparks. These brilliant inventions are perfect for indoor and outdoor celebrations and safe to use around all types of materials and fabrics.
