the vision: plan B but make it look plan A

It was a rare rainy day in San Antonio when Maggie and Josh tied the knot, but little did they know, it would make for the most moody and dramatic photos. That’s where the pros come in. Julian Leaver and their team already had an ornate sailcloth tent set up in the sprawling lawn of the private estate for just such a possibility, but the look was anything but Plan B. A solid wood floor created an elegant aisle while vines crawled up the tent, and potted wildflower arrangements by Jackson Durham Events made it feel as if the space had simply grown out of the garden.

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests made their way to the greenhouse reception space, erected specially for the day. Live music filled the air as Maggie and Josh mingled with their guests as they sat down to a delicious dinner.

getting ready

The couple took their time getting ready, safe and dry inside with all of their favorite people. Everyone watched the windows with anticipation to see if the rain would ever let up. Meanwhile, preparations were already in motion for the elegant tented ceremony.

the fashion

The bridesmaids led the way in a mixture of green floral-printed gowns in satin and chiffon. Then came the bride. Maggie was radiant in her lace Mira Zwillinger gown, which she accessorized with matching lace opera gloves and a delicate tulle veil.

the favors: silk scarves

As a favor, each of the guests received a custom-designed silk scarf, and they even had an embroiderer on-site adding monograms!

the cake

For dessert, guests were treated to a delectable wedding cake by Cathy Young. The five-tiered masterpiece was decorated in fresh flowers and served as a centerpiece at the reception.
the getaway car

In a cinematic moment, the couple made their getaway in a Jeep, driving off into the night. Note the flowers on the back. Attention to detail—we love to see it! 👏
