the vison: romance & mystery

KC Experiential House dreamed up this romantic garden house wedding that unfolded under cloudy skies, framed by a wild ivy arch and soft iris blooms in smoky purples and natural tones. The bride steals the show in a flowing, floral ball gown with airy sleeves, carrying a bouquet by Seventh Stem Floral Design Co, brimming with delicate irises. The groom contrasts her softness in a sharp black tuxedo, while black chairs ground the ethereal ceremony space. The design features translucent smoky glassware, letterpress stationery, and antique-sourced layered dishware with intricate floral details. A muted palette of smoky purples, soft greens, and neutrals creates a moody, timeless atmosphere where elegance feels effortless and deeply natural.

the flowers
The centerpiece of this stunning shoot is this whimsical floral arch that not only provided the backdrop for the ceremony but framed the entrance to the reception space. The irises in the arrangements are truly unique and add a romantic flair, which is balanced beautifully by the deep and moody greenery.

the invitations

Embossing is definitely having a moment, and this invitation suite is the perfect example of how effective it can be as a design element. We also love that KC Experiential House paired the ivory suite with a light tan envelope and a moody painted floral liner that tied in the rest of the color palette for the day.
the fashion

For the intimate micro-wedding, the bride wore a romantic lace gown with an oversized floral motif and off-the-shoulder sleeves. They paired the look with a loose romantic updo and natural makeup and an adorable wicker clutch that is giving picnic vibes.
