the vibe: summer daydream
Maddie and Jared’s vineyard wedding at RGNY, designed by Veronica Joy Events, took a rustic wedding aesthetic and elevated it. From wildflower accents and whimsical fashion details to organic, earthy touches, this al fresco celebration was a summer daydream.
the color palette: blue and yellow
They infused a whimsical color palette with a mix of blues and yellows throughout the decor, creating a joyful summer wedding design that added bursts of color throughout every moment. After a ceremony surrounded by lemon yellow florals by Hometown Flower Co, guests gathered for dinner, drinks, and dancing in their tented reception setup, where tables featured more blue and yellow accents and organic touches were emphasized, right down to the naked cake covered in fresh summer strawberries!
the stationery
From the invitation suite to the wedding programs, adorable wildflower details, including dried flowers were scattered throughout the stationery. The menus featured the color palette of the day as well as adorable hand-drawn illustrations of elements from the farm-fresh feast.
the fashion
The bride was a vision in a floral print organza dress while printed bridesmaids’ dresses incorporated the blue from the color palette. Her groom stepped outside the box with a deep blue suit, blue bowtie with a floral motif, and feathered hat.
the cake
A festive take on the naked cake, this tired beauty featured generous layers of whipped cream and fresh strawberries as well as live wildflower decorations.
