a dream venue
Our wedding day at La Joya Dulce was an absolute dream come true! This was the first venue we ever toured and we immediately fell in love with it and knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Our wedding day was literally perfect. The guests were greeted by La Joya staff on horseback, along with cocktails and of course, the incredible views.
getting ready
My bridesmaids and family had a very relaxing morning surrounded by the beauty of Steamboat Springs and La Joya Dulce, getting ready together, sharing gifts, and talking about our love story. My husband and his groomsmen had a blast getting ready in the barn area.

It’s always a good idea to make sure your guests are hydrated for the ceremony, especially when it’s outside. This couple took it one step further and offered guests tequila shots to get everyone in the mood.

Our closest friends and family enjoyed the heartfelt ceremony which encompassed everything we wanted our wedding day to be. I could not have imagined a more beautiful place overlooking the valley to vow my life to the man of my dreams.

After the ceremony, guests made their way indoors for the reception. The Glacier Lily kept the florals chic and understated with a eucalyptus garland and white rose centerpieces. Slices of tree trunks served as chargers and guests received custom camping mugs at each place setting.

We love this champagne toast display wall, especially if you’re planning on a buffet service for the reception dinner.

For the wedding cake, the couple opted for a traditional three-tiered cake with fresh flowers displayed on a wood base to tie it in with the tablescape. And how cute is this sculpted Airstream groom’s cake?!
