Again a special thank you to Erica of 1011 Hair and Makeup. Be sure to read on How To Do A Milkmaid Braid.

Step 1:
Part your hair down the middle, from the front of your hair line to nape of your neck.
Step 2:
Braid symmetrical braids, one on each side, and secure the ends with an elastic band. Clear bands are easier to hide within the style.
Step 3:
Take one of the braids and pull it up and over to the opposite side of your head. Secure the end of the braid with bobby pins. You can hide the pins by placing them within the braid. The braid should rest on the head towards the front of the crown. Repeat with the opposite side, and tuck the ends under each braid-  As you secure this side, cover the ends of the other braid and tuck the ends of this braid under the other side. Secure with bobby pins. You can also weave fabric into the braid if you wanted to spice the look up a bit. Just simply braid the hair with the fabric and secure it in with the elastic band. Spray with a light finishing spray.
