It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without one, two, or a few million engagements, right? So, when we woke up to proposal news about Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom getting engaged on the day of love, it was everything we needed to hear.

1) Because it’s Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, and we just adore them. And 2) Because the ring that she posted that glorious announcement post with is absolutely stunning. You don’t even need to see the pop star and her guy’s faces, because that floral bauble just takes ALL the attention.

Now, neither one of the pair has shared any in-depth info on the merchandise, but of course, everyone is speculating over how much it could be valued at (E! News says $5 million… wow) and exactly what kind of ring it actually is. Did her bubbadoo do it the way he did, because he always envisioned a February 14th proposal story? Or did Katy have a pre-proposal preference for Cupid-worthy colors, making it only so appropriate to lock things down on the most lovable day of the year?

Whether it’s a ruby or a pink diamond, it really doesn’t matter, because for all intents and purposes, it’s Valentine’s Day vibes all day, every day. And the floral diamond halo makes the ring. Like red or pink gemstones are goals, especially when you’re looking to dash the diamond stereotype, but I think without the floral motif, the pretty colored gem would just be that. A pretty colored gem. The floral petal design brings a whole other layer of femininity and freshness and really makes it a standout engagement sparkler.

We love that it has a very fashion jewelry-forward look to it, definitely stackable, but can stand out on its own, entirely, too!

As per usual, we rounded up some of the most on-point matches for this Dark Horse’s dazzler. Some get the color right, some get the shape right, and some have them both covered 👌👌👌.
