After experiencing the many highs and lows of planning a wedding during the pandemic, Carly and Adam finally decided on something small and intimate for their big day. It was most important for them to be surrounded by the people who shaped them growing up and those who were the biggest supporters of their relationship over the years. The couple had stumbled upon Compass Rose Suites, a beautiful farmhouse, a few months earlier in Prince Edward County, nestled among wildflowers and dirt roads, and they knew it would be the perfect place to exchange their forever vows in front of the closest people in their lives. 515 Photo Co. captured these moments below with the perfect attention to detail and caring.
Modern yet earthy wedding inspo
Carly and Adam wanted their wedding day to feel modern and earthy, infusing warmth with a sense of timelessness. Textures found throughout Prince Edward County, as well as neutral tones such as whites, ivories, and browns were integrated through their florals by Para Palm Flowers, their decor, and the outdoor landscape. It made for an effortless look and feel, which felt fitting for the couple’s love story.
How to style a unique yet timeless wedding look
The bride’s dresses (and the groom’s custom tux by Custom Ermenegildo Zegna) created a luxurious, yet bohemian vibe from sunrise to sunset. Each of the bride’s dresses complemented the particular part of the day that it was chosen for, and included apparel and accessories from Elihav Sasson and Shona Joy. Carly began her day in a stunning, asymmetrical one-shoulder dress with cutout, accented by a cathedral-length, timeless veil. Her “something blue” became her beautifully accented shoes! She then changed into a three-quarter sleeve silk slip dress that featured delicate buttons all the way down the front and a flattering v-neck design. For some of the couple’s portraits, she added a trendy wide-brimmed hat to complete the high-end boho look. Both bridal outfits were absolute dream inspo!

The dinner from Matt Demille was one of their favorite memories from the day. The couple and their guests dined together at one long table under the setting summer sun, surrounded by tall grass and twinkly lights – most of them were barefoot by this point! The meal was served family style and was inspired by those lazy summer evenings spent outdoors with the people you love.
