This Greek Island wedding defines bright and modern coastal elegance

Labrini, a Greek-Australian bride, met Jamaican-British groom Richard five years ago when they both lived in Hong Kong. After a couple of dates, they fell in love and built a life together travelling around the world, exploring different cultures and flavors, and meeting each other’s families. When Richard proposed to Labrini after having spent a long time apart during Covid, they decided to have all their friends and family from all over the world meet in Greece to celebrate their love with the beautiful Cycladic island of Paros as their backdrop.

Bright, modern decor accented with pops of yellow highlighted the Greek island setting

Labrini and Richard chose a villa with Grecian architecture and the most breathtaking views of the sea and sunset in order to make the most of the location they chose for their wedding celebration. Because it would be hot on a summer day in Greece, Labrini chose a gown that would be light and would follow a simple Grecian style. Similarly, their decor was bright and modern, accentuated by pops of yellows in their color palette. This palette also included dried elements to honor the local vegetation of the Cycladic island. Lots of romantic bistro lights decorated the reception as the sun went down, and Greek Bouzouki created an equally romantic ambience throughout the evening celebration. It was truly a magical event!
