Kelly and Carson got married in August at Rainbow Tavern & Lodge, an event venue in Soda Springs that’s also the perfect wedding weekend getaway in the Tahoe mountains. With onsite accommodations and plenty of scenic areas, it’s a charming and historic venue! On the day of their wedding, Kelly and Carson had a picture-perfect overcast sky that created a beautiful blanket of defused light almost all day that made for the most stunning photos.

Gray skies on their wedding day meant even more beautiful photos in the mountains
Throughout the entire wedding day, there were beautiful details and choices that highlighted and complemented the vibe of the venue. Kelly’s bridesmaids wore green satin dresses, while the groomsmen wore cream linen suits, emphasizing that casual, yet elegant vibe. Their wedding dessert was also so fitting and fun! They hired a gourmet s’mores truck to cater dessert that was such a cute, bright pink truck that the newlyweds even got a few photos in front of it! For their sunset photos, the couple and their photographer went to the rock creek bed at the venue that felt almost celestial. These photos are just one of the reasons why this gorgeous Tahoe location shouldn’t be missed!
