Wedding Theme
Everything about Maggie + Mike’s colorful Holman Ranch‘s wedding was so vibrant and just fun! The couples love for music was tied in throughout the design with records used for the seating chart display, guest book and table numbers. The records were all named after their favorite concert venues.
From The Couple
We both wanted the day to represent us as a couple and the people we loved. We chose the theme (music theme) one night in bed while sitting thinking about…what’s something that means a lot to us. We kept spitballing back and forth and ended up on music. We have gone to tons and tons of concerts together over the years, we collect posters from our favorite venue The Fillmore in SF, which hang on a wall in our home, and Mike plays guitar so music is a big part of our relationship.
Once we chose a theme we then slowly started to craft all the details (the records to sign, the big signage for seating, the names of the tables etc) that night in bed and then slowly brought it to life over the coming months. It was a team effort! We just wanted to have a good time and for everything to feel fun which is where all the warm colors came from and we wanted all our special people to be there. Mike’s mom painted everything for the memorial table.
