Rustic Boho Ranch Wedding: Chelsea & Peter’s Blush-Filled Celebration

Share

Happy groom carrying bride in boots on farm wedding day

Chelsea & Peter’s rustic wedding was all country with a hint of boho flair. Their venue, the Rancho San Antonio, a working ranch in the hills of Buellton, CA was the perfect location to showcase their stylish day filled with blush accents and pops of greenery.

The rustic barn reception featured dreamy chandeliers and hanging twinkle lights, and we love their outdoor reception under a big oak tree.  It’s the perfect blend of bohemian style meets rustic country! Keep scrolling for more and check out the full gallery after from Lisa Anderson of Wisteria Photography.

From Wisteria Photography: This boho-rustic wedding of Chelsea & Peter took place at Rancho San Antonio, a working ranch set back in the hills of Buellton, CA. The couple chose this venue after falling in love with its beautiful barn, gorgeous chandeliers, rolling hills & trees. The bridal party attire was dialed in – from the Bridesmaids who wore coordinating blush dresses, cowgirl boots and flower crowns, to the Groomsmen who rocked blue suits with subtle floral ties.

Crafty groom

The Groom, Peter, did all the table cards and seating chart assignments. He made the seating chart holder out of wood and chicken wire, as well as the black and white welcome sign. All of the beautiful chalk board calligraphy was done by the Brides friend, Korey Brent. As guests arrived they were greeted by the cutest lemonade stand, and a guest book “Jenga”table. The large Oak Tree backdrop at their ceremony was absolutely stunning.

Horsing around

For Bride & Groom portraits, we hopped in a truck and drove up into the golden rolling hills of the ranch, stopping on our way back to the reception when we saw some horses on the hill beside us. We were hoping to grab a few more shots with the horses in the background, but to our surprise they came over to give Chelsea and Peter some love, which was really special.

Life-size cardboard cut out

At the reception, white pitchers filled with light colored florals were used as centerpieces. Antlers and greenery lined the head table. The couple created their own Photo Booth corner, by making a large wood paneled background, featuring a life sized cut out of themselves (from their engagement session).

From one bride to another

From the bride: My advice to future brides and grooms would be to not sweat the small stuff! On the day of things aren’t always going to go exactly how you envisioned, but none of your guests know that! Just drink a glass of wine, put a smile on your face, let it go and keep moving forward! One other piece of advice that one of my parents friends told me is at some point during the night take a few moments to just stand back with your partner and look around. See how much fun your guests are having, look at the smiles on everyone’s faces, the decor, the music, and cherish those precious moments together because the day goes by too fast! These are the moments you’ll look back on and cherish for a lifetime!
