Creating the Concept

Everything for this shoot was centered around a modern, controversial couple celebrating their wedding to the fullest and enjoying every second. There were no wedding bands, and the couple instead used anchor tattoos (Her last name is Anker – which means “anchor” in German).

These two, in particular, love to explore the great outdoors and festivals together, so this shoot combined the barefoot feeling of sandy beaches and their obsession for music and the arts. Bold colors and retro patterns highlighted the uniqueness of this festival-inspired wedding in every aspect – from the flowers to his Hawaiian shirt. This edgy wedding concept showed that every wedding can be as unique und colorful as the couple themselves!
