It’s the age of Austen and all things cottage core, so you know we fell head over heels in love with this quaint wedding in Orlando inspired by the romance of the English countryside. Taking cues from the natural moody colors, their palette pulled in the deep greens of the rolling hills, the grayish lavender that the sky turns just before it’s about to rain, tempting reds and burgundies, and a pop of orange. The outdoor garden ceremony was picture perfect, down to the ivy-covered gate that made the perfect photo op for the happy couple. Then, for a true fairytale finale, they were whisked away in a horsedrawn carriage.

Reverie Events, made sure that all of these moving pieces came together to create one unforgettable experience. Their first task was finding the right venue, and it doesn’t get more picturesque than
Garden Villa, from the warm brick pathways to the lush gardens that go on for days.

A Modern Update On A Classic Look

In keeping with the natural garden theme, the bride wore her bright red hair down in beautifully tousled waves created by
Awe Glammed Up, topped with a braid crown with some greenery and white roses woven in. To add a little drama to the romantic look, she rocked a smokey eye and a rich mauve lip. With the help of her maid of honor, she slipped into a whimsical A-line gown with an off-the-shoulder lace bodice channeling her inner Regency-era debutante. The MOH was serving goddess vibes in an earthy olive dress that draped over one shoulder. Leaning into their wedding design, the men brought the color with the groom sporting a deep blue suit and a tangerine-hued tie and his groomsmen decked out in terracotta from head-to-toe. Even their officiant got the memo and wore an adorable ruffled dress that matched the groomsmen’s suits perfectly!

Ceremony In A Secret Garden

At the end of a garden path lined with wooden farmhouse chairs and framed by two floral towers, the groom patiently waited to see his bride grace the aisle. Her bouquet tied in the white and peach shades from the ceremony florals and added some latte-colored roses and pops of blush. Heartfelt vows were exchanged and sealed with a kiss…and then it was time to party! The bride popped on a pair of heart-shaped glasses and the two retreated into the gardens for a little alone time before the reception.

Country Picnic Chic

Reminiscent of a country picnic, the tables were similarly themed, but no two were the same. Rich linens in shades of burgundy, peach, and white set the backdrop for unique centerpieces that incorporated delectable decorations like fresh figs and pomegranates. Vintage silverware, wicker chargers, and table numbers crafted from repurposed wine bottles added a rustic touch to this otherwise soft romantic spread. We also love the antique books that give a subtle nod to the original inspiration for this whimsical wedding design. In addition to the lovely tables, there was an outdoor lounge where guests could enjoy charcuterie and passed hors d’oeuvres on a captivating marigold velvet sofa. After some good food, good wine, and good company, the couple and their guests made their way indoors for some music. And, of course, what great romance would be complete without a little dancing? The couple was showered with petals as they bid a fond farewell to their guests and rode off into their happily ever after.
