Being from Brazil, I have always loved hummingbirds and when my client told me she was working on a hummingbird wedding inspiration, I was so excited! Melissa chose a color scheme of Sangria, Ivory and Silver for her wedding decor, and she was at first a bit hesitant about adding hummingbirds, since it was a fall wedding. She hired event designer Flavio Murillo from Divine Decor who added silver hummingbirds to the the centerpieces as well as twigs, and diamond like crystals. The DJ added a lighting affect which had the image of the hummingbird on the wall with their names. It was quite a special day. Flavio did a table to honor Melissa’s mom who passed away and added a photo of her mom in her wedding rose bouquet. I found the colors and design elements to be quite unique. I had a blast photographing the wedding details. Here are some of my favorite images.
