A beach wedding in Mexico sounds pretty amazing in itself, but throw in a non-stop beach party and we’re over here thinking, “Uhhh where was our invite?!” This next couple had an amazing celebration in Mexico and we can feel all the love and joy between these two in every last photo!
From all the greenery and roses to the giant tents on the beach + non-stop entertainment, these two threw a legit beach party for all of their guests and they did it in total style. Their Color combo
From the bride: The color scheme was a mix of greens, whites, golds, and greys. We wanted to emphasize the timeless white but also build off the naturally beautiful scenery with a lot of greenery. The golds and greys served as excellent accessory colors.

The décor for the ceremony embraced timeless elegance with a heavy emphasis on whites and soft colors. The idea for the cocktail hour was to embrace the local Mexican culture with personalized paper picado hanging above an open-air atrium with a mariachi band performing. At the reception, we platformed the beach as we wanted to host our guests on the beach but keep it formal and classy. The reception venue provided a unique experience as the venue was situated on the platformed sand in front of a friend’s house on the beach.
Glass blown hearts
We used local glass-blown hearts which were gifted to our guests. They were fun, elegant and served as a great keepsake for our guests. The hearts were color-coded based on meal choice which also helped the servers during dinner service.

The table décor was thanks to our dream team! We had a color palette and vision in mind but it was our wedding planners and vendors that really worked their magic to create such a beautiful result. It was important to us that table decorations were below eye level as to not create view point barriers across the tables (as we wanted to promote socialness) and we also wanted to have a lot of candles on the tables to create a romantic feel in the evening.
their biggest splurge?
The biggest splurge was on the production set up for the reception because of the design and construction to transform the beach into a unique dining and dancing venue. We also splurged on entertainment so that we could provide a fun experience for our guests. Entertainment included a live painter, mariachi band, a water drum show, an electronic live duo playing with the DJ, and an epic 12-piece band. We also decided to have a surprise firework show at the end of our first dance.
Late-night beach party
We also planned a late-night party from 11:30pm onwards which embraced a bohemian theme with large teepees, sand inlaid couches, and a full entertainment production including a DJ performing with a violinist duo. Shoes were left at the reception venue (and shoes were eventually joined by the guys shirts!). We wanted to add this transition from black tie to beach party as it represents a juxtaposition that is our individual personalities and spirit as a couple: a solid balance of career ambitious but life of the party!
