It was a beautiful day for Amy and Cody’s rustic outdoor wedding at Beneath the Oaks in Texas. Their all country wedding was as charming as can be with denim bridesmaid dresses, cowgirl boots and an ATV getaway ride for two.

From Danica Johnson Photography: The day was perfect! From the slight breeze to the clouds casting shade between the large oak trees it made for a very comfortable evening for Cody and Amy’s gorgeous ceremony. The girls had their own private suite to prep and sip mimosas while the guy’s den was perfect for them to relax and visit before the festivities began. Amy was so happy to be marrying the love of her life and best friend while Cody said, and I quote, “She is out of my league, I am so lucky to have her.” They were the sweetest!
Rustic ceremony under the oak trees
As the ceremony began the bride’s father wheeled her around on the couples ATV and walked her down the aisle. The look on Amy’s face as she walked towards her groom said it all! You know how much two people love each other just by watching their eye contact and facial expressions. Cody was trying so hard not let his happy tears show. That is always the best moment for me as a wedding photographer. Awaiting the groom’s reaction and the bride’s reaction to his. The couple said their I do’s under the venue’s gorgeous mature oak trees, made their exit on their ATV and afterward took a stroll in the vineyard for some intimate photographs.

The reception had the most amazing appetizer buffet table that was too pretty to eat. The reception hall smelled like the bride and groom’s cake that the baker had brought in. Each table had a different centerpiece which made it very unique and the flower arrangements were put together nicely. The beautiful bride and grooms table sat under a large chandelier with floral and matching snapback hats for the groom and his bride.
