An exotic location
From Phosart Photography & Cinematography: London may be a beautiful city, but Danielle and Nick wanted a place more exotic for their wedding then home. What other place is more suitable than Santorini? The stunning scenery, the most amazing sunset, and the blessed waters…all to celebrate their love.

The wedding took place at the stunning Le Ciel in Santorini with gorgeous decorations and inspiring details throughout. Having a vision for their wedding, Danielle and Nick liked the more natural, candid shot style, so we followed that direction and caught their true smiles and enjoyment from the day. The result was brilliant!
How to travel with your dress
From the bride: Destination brides – take your dress and wedding day essentials as hand luggage to make sure it doesn’t stray! Most airlines insist your gown goes in the overhead luggage area so I would recommend bagging instead of boxing your gown and laying it flat over passengers’ luggage. My wedding gown was designed by Rime Arodaky, a Parisian designer and my bridesmaid’s wore dresses by Two Birds. If you choose to have your hair and makeup done professionally, book a trial to allow time and opportunity to make any changes!
Iron out the Wrinkles
Yes, no matter how prepared I thought I was, disaster did strike! I travelled to our venue by car in the Santorini heat – the journey took 20 minutes and when we arrived at the venue, I stepped out of the car, looked down at my gown and saw that it was completely creased right across the front from where I had been sitting. The venue staff who were there to greet me quickly ushered me into the bridal room where they got out the iron to fix the creases whilst I still had the dress on! I had one lady with her hand under my dress with a cloth and another lady sweeping my gown with the iron. My heart was in my mouth. I couldn’t look down but pleaded with them not to burn my dress. My bridesmaids did an amazing job of trying to reassure me during the chaos but I could see the horror on their faces! The staff were amazing and after 10 intense minutes they had me fixed up and good to go!
