Kick Off Your Forever With A Love Filled Wedding On The Beach

Share

Bride and groom share a tender moment on a beautiful beach

When your wedding calls for not one, but TWO pairs of sparkly Badgley Mischka shoes, you know you’re in for a good time! Katie and Andrew’s beach wedding was a love-filled day with an abundance of twinkle lights, gold pineapples and good vibes at the Sanderling Resort in Duck, NC.

The crashing waves made a picturesque backdrop for the beach ceremony, but that’s not all there is to love! Check out the entire day when you visit the full gallery for more candid moments from Julie Dreelin’s Beach Productions

Happy couple

From Sanderling Resort: Where to even begin?! Katie and Andrew are a site for sore eyes! And their love shines through in each and every one of their photos! There is something about Katie’s bright, warm smile that makes everyone smile at each and every photo. She lights up any room as soon as she walks through the door. We can totally see why Andrew fell for such a happy, carefree girl!

DIY boardwalk for the bride

Katie and Andrew were married alongside the beach with the waves crashing behind them. Katie, having a love for heels, didn’t want to be sinking in the sand as she walked down the aisle. Andrew, being the crafty, Green Beret that he is, created a pallet runner and wooden, trellis arbor for their gorgeous wedding day.

Love-filled day

Right before their grand reception entrance, Katie made a dress change, or took the long tulle skirt off her dress, to a show-stopping short dress, even taller heels, and a flower crown to top it all off! They really wowed the crowd with their choreographed first dance. It was a true delight to be a part of Katie and Andrew’s love-filled day!
