A wedding made of sugar, spice, everything nice + Kentucky bourbon! One thing you’ll always notice about Mary and Shaun is just how sweet they
are together and how much they enjoy being together. On their wedding
day their friends and family were so excited to be there to celebrate
with them!
Mary and Shaun traveled to Ireland together when they were
dating, and their families also have some Irish roots, so they tied in
some details from Ireland to their Kentucky wedding day, including the bagpiper
that led them back down the aisle as husband and wife! See all their fun details, including the groom’s cake, in the full gallery all photographed by Jen & Chris Creed.

Some Football Found It’s Way Into The Wedding
From Jen & Chris Creed: Shaun (and many of the groomsmen) is a HUGE
University of Tennessee fan. So there were of course nods to that with
the guys socks and the incredible groom’s cake. But the best part was UT
pulling off their miraculous last second win over Georgia while the
guys watched on their phone before the reception! Not only was it an
incredibly sweet and emotional day, but the design that went into the
day was also stunning. The perfect background for everyone to dance the
night away!

A Church Ceremony to Start Off The Day
From the bride:
We got married at my church, State Street United Methodist Church in
Bowling Green Kentucky, where we had the most beautiful and emotional
ceremony by my preacher Dr. Jay Smith. We then headed to The Arling in
Franklin Kentucky (my hometown) where everything was picturesque and
romantic.

Wedding Dreams Can Come True At The Arling
Lydia Petersen, the owner of The Arling and my wedding planner, truly
exceeded my expectations. When we walked into The Arling, we were in
complete awe with the beauty, details, and how Lydia personalized
everything to us and our interests. We spent the night at The Arling
eating delicious food from Steamer’s Seafood and dancing the night away
to The Juice Box Heroes — their energy and interactiveness was simply
amazing! The night was perfect in every way and now we have beautiful
pictures thanks to Jen and Chris Creed to relive this magical day!

Remember This Is The Best Day Of Your Life
My advice for
future brides and grooms would be to enjoy and take in every minute of
your wedding day! Remember that this is the best day of your life, because this
is the first day of the rest of your life with the one you love and it
goes by in a blink of an eye so cherish it!
