Be yourself
From Stephanie Tara Stationery: The outfits were a key component due to the bride and grooms desire to truly feel like themselves on their wedding day while still looking special. Stephanie wore a lace slip dress with a beaded overlay called the Georgia from BHLDN. Her messy up-due was adorned with wax flowers.
Vintage finds
John found a vintage navy vest and feather boutonniere that added great texture against a bright yellow tie with rolled up, navy pants and brown leather combat boots. His favorite part of the outfit though were his unexpectedly adorable striped surfer socks that showed tastefully above the boot.
Intimate ceremony
Aesthetically, the Brooklyn Winery offered everything Stephanie and John wanted even before filling the room with blooming bud vases, antique oil lanterns and their favorites, quirky vintage suitcases from Rebecca Shepherd Floral Design.
The ceremony was short and sweet with a spiritual officiant leading the couple through a meaningful native reading, unity candle ritual and personal vows that were whispered to each each other so only Stephanie and John could hear them.
Field of flowers
The rustic wood below the bright yellow ranunculus, purple aliums and red zinnias created the illusion that a field of flowers covered the dinner tables.Table number cards hung organically from wine bottles at each table while floral place cards appeared scattered amongst the vintage china with a feather attached to represent a soft touch.
Pie table
The evening commenced with fresh peach and apple pies and plenty of singing and dancing thanks to the oh so talented Silver Arrow Band. Their wishes to have an intimate, romantic and lively celebration came true at the winery thanks to the very talented vendors, family and close friends.
