A Special Place
From the Bride: Mirza and I got married in Poulsbo, WA, the city where my Great-Grandfather served as the mayor many years ago! Not only was our venue gorgeous, but it was extra special to be married in a location that means so much to my family.
The star of our ceremony was none other than Henry, our charismatic ring bearer! A handsome goat, Henry provided us with many laughs and was able to honor our shared love of the quirky animal.
A Planner Makes Perfect
I wouldn’t have done anything differently! Everything was seamless thanks to our amazing wedding planner and team from the decor to the execution of ideas, I loved it all. My advice would be to not sweat the small stuff and think of the wedding as a big party where everyone just wants to have fun.
It Takes Two
One of our favorite aspects of the wedding was how we were able to combine both my American, and his Bosnian cultures into one. From our half classic, half Batman wedding cake, delicious baklava, and traditional Bosnian dance, we feel the night was an absolute success filled with love and memories that will last a lifetime.
